Top Op Horse Gram (also known as Kollu or Kulthi) is a small, oval-shaped lentil with a dark brown colour. Traditionally used as a high-energy feed for horses, it has gained immense popularity as a "superfood" for humans due to its incredible nutritional density and distinct, earthy flavour.
Culinary Versatility Horse gram is a staple in South Indian and Himalayan cuisines. It is famously used to make Kollu Rasam (a spicy, thin soup) and Kulthi Dal.
